The other day I read a crazy story about a rapper who charges $2000 per word.
His name is J Cole.
If you want him featured on your song, get ready to part with $2000 per word.
Note: Not $2,000 per verse. But $2,000 per word.
So if his verse has 100 words, that's $200,000.
Dayyymmmmmn.
That's crazy.
Unfortunately copywriting clients don't pay that well. 😉
But you can still make good money.
I don't know the highest amount any copywriter has ever charged for an email.
But I know someone who charges $1,500 per email.
And another who charges $500 per email.
Truth is, depending on your skill level and (most importantly) the client you work for…
You can charge between $50 to $10,000 per email .
Yes, you read that right.
$10k for 1 email.
How?
Well, let me answer that with a story.
Let's say a potential client reaches out to you and says…
" I want to launch a new offer to my list of 100,000 subscribers"
"I need 7 launch emails"
And from your interactions with him, you find out he's selling a $999 offer.
Let's say your emails can generate 2000 sales. Making him $1.99 million.
Almost $2 million.
Do you think he would readily pay you $10,000 per email?
That's $70,000 in total?
Would he pay you $70k to make $2M?
I believe it's possible. It's a fair bargain.
Even he pays that sum for a complete package including sales pages etc… it's still worth it.
The only problem is finding clients like this , having the skill and having the confidence to charge this high.
That's why many copywriters recommend you chat with the client first …so you can see how much you can make for him or her…before quoting a price.
You should charge according to the value you generate.
Get it?
Well, this just goes to show what's possible.
Have a great day.

PS- This email is over 320 words long. Meaning if Cole wrote it, I would have paid him …$640,000.
Lol.
Crazy.
